Deployment Training

5-minute training. Pass the 4-question quiz and win a discount on your plan.

1. Where your app lives

BoDiGi 2.0 builds your app and shows it as a live preview inside the platform. Nothing is on the real internet until YOU deploy it. To deploy: download your code (ZIP or GitHub export), then import it into a hosting platform like Vercel.

2. The three accounts you need

GitHub stores your code (github.com). Vercel runs your app on the internet (vercel.com). Supabase is your database (supabase.com). All three have free tiers — you can launch without paying anything to them.

3. Deploying step by step

Push your code to GitHub → go to vercel.com → "Add New Project" → import your repo → Vercel reads your settings automatically → click "Deploy". Your app gets a live URL in about a minute. Connect a custom domain later in Vercel → Settings → Domains.

4. Environment variables (the #1 gotcha)

Your app needs its API keys to run — but keys never travel with the code. After importing to Vercel, add each key in Vercel → Settings → Environment Variables. The Launch Guide doc in your build lists every key and exactly where to find it.

5. Test before you celebrate

Open your live URL on your phone. Sign up with a test account. If your app takes payments, use Stripe test card 4242 4242 4242 4242. Only share the URL after signup, login, and your core feature all work.
